About Me

I'm Valerie

Hi!

I am a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach with over 15 years of experience in the wellness space. In addition to my board certification, I am a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor as well as a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a Precision Nutrition Level 2 Coach.

 

My passion is centered around helping women with sensible, realistic health & fitness programs that are not only individual but also sustainable. By using strong motivational interviewing skills, I help clients dig into their deepest goals, identify and overcome barriers, and find the motivation needed to make big dreams come true. Ultimately allowing my clients to truly live their best life.

My previous careers include serving in the United States Air Force for over 21 years, teaching and coaching at various boutique fitness studios, and training hundreds of private clients.

I hold graduate degrees in both Management and International Relations and I am in the process of finishing my Ph.D. in Health and Sports Science, with an estimated completion date of December 2024.

In my free time, you can find me hanging out with my husband Ken, daughter Zara, and our animals, Pugo and Kitty Kitty. We love running (and other sports) and traveling as a family while making memories around the world.
